Danny Boy 2 runs charter fishing trips, sightseeing trips and family trips from Poole Quay, Poole, Dorset UK. The skipper is John ‘Dinger’ Bell.
Born and raised in the North East, John has never lost his ‘Geordie’ charm! He joined the military in 1984, and was soon re-christened Dinger Bell.
In over 30 years of military service Dinger saw the globe, but the bulk of his time (over 20 years) was spent in Poole where he settled with his wife and children. He is great at engaging with people, and nothing worries him. A pleasure to be with.
After leaving the military Dinger spent several years working for a military charity, before retiring in 2023 to fish.
Dinger looks forward to welcoming you onboard Danny Boy 2, and we know you will enjoy your day with him.
